What works for me is: Right-click on MagicaVoxel. You get a black screen because the Mac has quarantined the app bundle. Type ls -l in the Terminal and hit Return and you'll see that the app has a quarantine flag on it: drwxr-xr-x 3 jslaught staff 96 Nov 22 MagicaVoxel.
